Contributor’s Note: I am by no means a fan of Pat Buchanan, but with regard to this, his warning to the U.S. against jumping on ‘escalator to something unthinkable’, I must agree that he is spot on correct.

The Day of the Hawk is at Hand
The bombing of Pan Am 103 over Lockerbie was premeditated mass murder. Gadhafi was taking revenge for Reagan’s raid on Tripoli in 1986.
The downing of KAL 007, flying from Anchorage to Seoul, was mass murder in the second degree. Seeing an aircraft intrude into Russian air space, Soviet officers brutally ordered it shot down.
The downing of the Malaysian airliner that took the lives of 298 men, women and children was not deliberate terrorism. No one wanted to massacre those women and children.
It was a horrendous military blunder, like the U.S. shoot-down of the Iranian Airbus by the Vincennes in 1988.
That U.S. cruiser thought it was coming under attack. And Ukraine’s separatists thought they were firing at an army plane.
The distinctions are as important as those between first- and second-degree murder, and manslaughter.
The respective reactions confirm this. Gadhafi concealed his role in the Scotland slaughter. Moscow was defiant in the KAL case. America was apologetic over the Iranian airliner.Today, Vladimir Putin, with an indictment being drawn up against him, is blaming Ukraine for the war out of which the tragedy came.
But though Putin did not order the plane shot down, the horror of it all has put him in a box. And the course he pursues could determine the future of U.S.-Russian relations for his tenure.
For the rebels in Ukraine are seen as Putin’s proxies. They have been armed and advised by Russia. And it was a Russian SA-11 that brought the airliner down.
While the separatists say they got the surface-to-air missiles from an army depot, there is evidence the missile was provided by Russia, and Russians may have advised or assisted in the fatal launch.
This crisis has caused President Obama to insist that Putin cut off the rebels. And if he does not rein them in, and abandon their cause, Putin is likely to face new U.S.-EU sanctions that could cripple his economy and push his country further out into the cold.
And the ostracism of Putin and the sinking of Russia’s economy is what some in the West have long had in mind.
…with Texas Senator Ted Cruz as her running mate. At least he admits to being from Calgary, Canada.
Dear TMQ2 readers, there isn’t a single individual in or out of politics in my memory who has been subjected to, and I might add has fully stood the test of the abomination of ridicule and contamination from the political left’s so-called progressives to the extent as Alaskan Governor Sarah Palin.
The vitriol espoused by said progressives with the full and unwavering support of our nation’s media not only occurred during one of our nation’s most pivotal presidential elections (2008), but has continued unabated and without cease since that time.
This should give one pause to consider just what in the hell makes them so afraid of her, this contributor thinks that just maybe it’s because she speaks from a position of knowledge, faith and truth.
If you have approximately 40 minutes to devote to watching a video, please watch this one:
And for those of you who don’t have the time to spare, or are just passing by without care, here’s a bedtime story for you that you can read to your children as well. Adopted from Dr. Seuss’s Green Eggs and Ham, by Sarah Palin.
I do not like this Uncle Sam, I do not like his health care scam. I do not like these dirty crooks or how they lie and cook the books. I do not like when Congress steals, I do not like their crony deals. I do not like this spying, man. I do not like, ‘Oh, yes, we can.’ I do not like this spending spree, we’re smart, we know nothing’s free. I do not like reporters’ smug replies when I complain about their lies. I do not like this kind of hope and we won’t take it, nope, nope, nope.
Another sobering and thought-provoking article from our friends at Laissez Faire Today.
Can Snowden Occupy a Vacant Cabin in a Snowstorm?
When it comes to the NSA leaks and Edward Snowden, government has circled the wagons. Whether Democrat or Republican, the folks doing the people’s business have one view and the people see it differently. House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi was booed and interrupted by liberal attendees at the Netroots Nation conference on Saturday.
Netroots Nation is a convention for progressive political leaders. Pelosi, a darling of those on the left, was the keynote speaker at the event. But her pro-surveillance, anti-Snowden remarks incited the crowd. “We’re listening to our progressive leaders who are supposed to be on our side of the team saying it’s OK for us to get targeted” for online surveillance, said Jana Thrift of Eugene, Ore. “It’s crazy. I don’t know who Nancy Pelosi really is.”
We know who Nancy Pelosi is. She’s an authoritarian. She isn’t for freedom, or the people, she represents authority. She’s all for the government spying on us and taking lots of our money to do so. Like most in Washington she believes she knows what’s best for us. Americans should be on a “need to know” basis to keep us safe in Pelosi’s world.
Obama to Boehner: No Deal on Debt Limit, Defunding Obamacare
President Barack Obama called House Speaker John Boehner late Friday and reiterated that he would not negotiate with Congress on raising the debt limit, a Boehner representative told Newsmax.
“The president called the speaker this evening to tell him he wouldn’t negotiate with him on the debt limit,” the spokesman said in a statement. “Given the long history of using debt limit increases to achieve bipartisan deficit reduction and economic reforms, the speaker was disappointed, but told the president that the two chambers of Congress will chart the path ahead.
“It was a brief call,” the Boehner spokesman said.
The president also called House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, the White House said. (snip)
Obama is still faltering after being punked by Putin over Syria the last few weeks. In an effort to regain his manhood, he’s puffing up and acting tough over the budget bill, and “acting” is the operative word.
If Obama and his shoeshine butt-boys want to try acting tough then let’s show them what tough really is. There’s more than one way to skin a cat, right? He’s a big pussy, so are the libtard Dems . . . pussies all around. Congress should take advantage of this lull while the budget bill Yo-Yo’s to the Senate and back and get busy delivering this lousy excuse for a president’s walking papers.
Fuck Obama! Let’s get the IMPEACHMENT BULLDOZER fired up and not shut it down until his arrogant ass is shoved back where it belongs — Kenya. It’s not like we don’t have a mountain of evidence with which to topple him. He breaks the law and violates our rights on a daily basis, not to mention all of his flubbed foreign policy issues and being the expediter of the murder of four brave Americans in Benghazi. Our U.S. Constitution draws a red line specifically for his type of behavior yet he’s crossed it numerous times and has come back unscathed. Are we going to pretend he hasn’t just like he pretended he never drew a red line with Syria? Dealing with this shit-bird is like eating jello with chop sticks.
He doesn’t give a shit about us and we don’t give a shit about him. This “budget battle” is all about power and politics and has nothing to do with them working for us. While the talking heads in Washington are playing grab ass and holding felching sessions, we get the shaft, and frankly I’ve had enough of their shit. If I must chose between solving the budget conundrum or watching Congress put Obama out of office, I’m going with the latter.
Know this, folks. Until comrade imam Obama is gone and the libtard Dems are eviscerated, this country is going nowhere except straight down the Islamic sharia shit pipe.
