Evidently some groups are more entitled to the right of national self-determination.

The incessant crybaby tantrums for the “Palestinians” to have this right overshadows the same right being negated or denied for the following:

Jews

Kurds

Catalans

Basques

Tibetans

Assyrians

Chaldeans

New York Post Editorial:

President Obama claims bad intelligence caused him to miss the threat from ISIS, but critics say he closed his ears to warnings.

Could the same thing be happening when it comes to the threat from homegrown jihadis in America?

On Tuesday, Alton Nolen was charged with first-degree murder in the gruesome beheading of a female worker at an Oklahoma food-processing plant.

Prosecutors tie the killing to his recent suspension from the plant and discount any link to Islamic terrorism. For the FBI, too, it’s just a case of “workplace violence.”

Yet, according to police, Nolen had become a fervent Islamic proselytizer. His Facebook page was inundated with passages from the Koran, signed “From a Muslim,” near pictures of Osama bin Laden.

Could this be another case of see-no-evil?

Recall that the feds treated Maj. Nidal Hasan similarly, even though he admitted communicating with jihadis abroad before launching his Fort Hood massacre.

This summer, Hasan asked ISIS to make him a “citizen” of the Islamic State. Yet the Obama folks still chalk up his killings to just more violence in the workplace.

Closer to home, Ali Muhammad Brown murdered Brendan Tevlin while the 19-year-old student was sitting in his car at an intersection in West Orange, NJ.

Brown, who’s tied to three murders in the Seattle area, admitted killing Tevlin and called it a “just kill” — “vengeance” for US military action in the Middle East. Yet the feds won’t label this terror-related, either.

Will the Obama folks ever learn? To head off a threat, you’ve got to be willing to acknowledge it first.

Seymour Hersh Unearths More Lies on Syria: Jihadists, Turkey Launched Sarin Attack

“Obama was avid to get into war in Syria — so avid that he lied repeatedly to justify a U.S. intervention. But now the truth is coming out: it was Turkey all along, not Assad, who launched the sarin attack. Turkey —Obama’s close friend Recep Tayyip Erdogan. And now the United States is supplying the Syrian jihadists with weapons. The Obama Administration is one of the most shameful periods in American history.”

The Red Line and the Rat Line
Seymour M. Hersh on Obama, Erdoğan and the Syrian rebels

Investigative journalist Seymour Hersh has a second fascinating essay that rewrites the official record of the sarin gas attack on Ghouta, near Damascus, in August last year. As usual, Hersh uses his sources in the US security establishment to throw light on what really took place. The bottom line: Turkey was almost certainly the party responsible for the attack, hoping it would force Obama to honour his threatened “red line” if Assad used chemical weapons. Was the Assad regime to be brought down by a US military campaign, Turkey assumed it would be able to turn Syria into a client state.

Seymour Hersh“Seymour Hersh Unearths More Lies on Syria: Opposition Launched Sarin Attack,” Il Faro, April 7, via Friends of Syria

Like the earlier article, this one will probably gain very little attention. It is published in the obscure UK literary publication the London Review of Books. Presumably like last time, Hersh could not find a mainstream publication willing to take it – and I’m guessing that, like last time, these stunningly important revelations will be shunned by the liberal media. Instead, it will be consigned to the memory hole, along with so much other evidence of western crimes against humanity. Pundits and analysts will continue to tell us confidently that Assad carried out the Ghouta attack, oblivious to Hersh’s findings.

The reason the New York Times, the Washington Post and the Guardian have been studiously ignoring Hersh’s investigations on this, it seems to me, is that they show the Obama administration’s foreign policy is just as criminal as the previous Bush White House’s.

Here is a summary of Hersh’s main findings:

Muslim Brotherhood claim: We’ve got ‘goods on Obama’
Son of jailed leader says evidence could put U.S. president in prison

By Jerome R. Corsi | WND | 13 September 2013

U.S. Republican Senators John McCain of Arizona and Lindsey Graham of South Carolina.

NEW YORK – The son of a jailed Muslim Brotherhood leader in Egypt is claiming his father has evidence that will land President Obama in prison.

The claim came as the Obama administration, with the assistance of Sens. John McCain, R-Ariz., and Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., and the open involvement of the No. 2 man at the U.S. State Department, made a concerted effort to see Muslim Brotherhood leaders in Egypt released.

In an interview with the News Agency Anatolia in Turkey, Saad Al-Shater, the son of imprisoned Muslim Brotherhood leader Khairat Al-Shater, said his father “had in his hand” evidence that will put Obama in prison. (more…)

Why Golda Meir Was Right Parts I-II:

Israeli PM. עברית: ראש הממשלה הרביע...

Part I (August 23, 2011): It has been more than two and a half years since Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan told to Israeli President Shimon Peres’s face, “You (Jews) know well how to kill.” Prime Minister Erdoğan has also declared more than a few times that the main obstacle to peace in this part of the world is Israel, once calling the Jewish state “a festering boil in the Middle East that spreads hate and enmity.” In this holy month of Ramadan full of blood on Muslim territories, let’s try to identify who are the ones who know well how to kill. The more things change the more they stay the same.

I think that comes from the French expression “plus ça change, plus c’est la même chose”.

Anyhoo, I do believe that on this date in 1529 Holy Roman Emperor Charles V gave the Muslim Turks their comeuppance at the gates of Vienna and turned the tide of Islime-ic expansion into Europe.

Where is Chuckie Numerocinco when we need him?

Remember it was the Turks, not the Moors, not the Persians, not the Arabs, who were the Muslim threat of the day back then.

And if the Taffy di tutti taffy in charge of Turkey today had his way, revenge would be exacted.

So, in celebration, raise a glass of Sherry (Jerez) or Calvados in recognition of Ferdinand’s and Isabella’s grandson’s accomplishment.

Hey Turks, and I know you read this, you’ve been served.

Don’t you think it’s time we started pressing the powers that be to have Turkey removed from NATO?

What is to be gained by allowing them access to NATO security information or benefiting from a mutual defense treaty as they help Iran, Syria, Hamas and Hezbollah try to fuck us up the ass?

Let’s write our representatives to kick these bums out.

Max Jacobs wrote the following as advice for Henry Kissinger in 1974. Hardly anyone else has ever read it. I’m not even sure Kissinger read it. Much of it is moot now. For instance, before King Hussein died he relinquished any and all Jordanian connections with the West Bank.

Much has changed since Jacobs wrote this, and much of what has changed is good for the people living in the region and many of these changes add to the stability of the region. But there remain some niggling issues that are continually thrust in everyone’s faces as if they really matter. Regarding these, I would like to point out the following:

There was just a war in Georgia between the Georgians and the Russians. Now there’s a ceasefire and with that ceasefire came an agreement. Wars lead to agreements and people abide by them. (more…)
