THE FOLLOWING IS MY SYNDICATED COLUMN THAT WAS PUBLISHED July 4, 2006. OBVIOUSLY NOT ALL OF THE PEOPLE NAMED THEN ARE LIVING AND/OR IN OFFICE TODAY BUT THE NAMES OF THE ELECTED POLITICIANS ARE INTERCHANGEABLE WHEN IT COMES TO THEIR NOT HAVING OUR BEST INTEREST IN MIND AND THEIR LEVEL OF CORRUPTION. AS I SAID, CHANGE THE NAMES I REFERENCED THEN WITH THOSE IN OFFICE TODAY AND THIS PIECE IS EVEN MORE PRESCIENT THAN WHEN FIRST PENNED SEVEN YEARS AGO.

John Kerry’s idea of freedom may be marrying uber-wealthy heiresses. Ted Kennedy’s idea of same has been to live off his gangster father’s bootlegging money. Howard Dean, D-Vt., Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., and Barbara Boxer, D-Calif., view freedom as bullying and intimidating any Democrat congressman who gets out of line (especially if he is black) and bashing the president at every opportunity. IN the wake of Russia’s ruthless invasion of Georgia, the United States sent relief supplies on military aircraft and ships. Our vice president went to Tbilisi. And we promised a billion dollars in reconstruction aid.

The European Union sent a get-well card. With no return address.

Washington asked that Georgia and Ukraine be put on the fast track to NATO membership to deter further Russian aggression. The EU suggested sending unarmed civilian observers, instead.

The Bush administration begged for a unified front against Prime Minister Vladimir Putin’s barbarism. Rejecting any penalties for Russia, the EU took the bold step of postponing talks on a trade deal. (more…)

You Idiot, Do Not Think, Otherwise You Might Stop Being a Muslim

“O ye who believe! Ask not questions about things which if made plain to you, may cause you trouble… Some people before you did ask such questions, and on that account lost their faith.”

Qur’an 5:101-102

My son is reading a book about the Civil Rights Movement in the early 60’s for his English class. One of the vocabulary words he needed to find a dictionary definition of was “bigot”.

The American Heritage Dictionary defines the word as “A person who is rigidly devoted to his own group, religion, race or politics and is intolerant of those who differ.”

After almost 20 years of marriage, I experienced on Thanksgiving, what absolute, unrepentant, and pathological bigots are in my wife’s family.

I heard things that made my skin crawl and left me dazed. (more…)

While I Was Away Being a Soldier, the USA Ceased Being a Free Country

Years after leaving, I returned home to a country that had changed beyond recognition. It was no longer the place I knew while growing up. It had become a nit-picky, hypersensitive legal system with far more cops than needed, who were just waiting to bust someone, anyone for some chicken-shit crime. All the while the real criminals were going unchecked. They still are.

If you think this country generally treats returning veterans warmly, think again. It’s simply not true. The united States of America has lost its sense of self. It has been hijacked by lefty-liberals and other seditious traitors. They’re destroying our country bit by bit.

For example, it’s now legal to burn an American flag or dunk a Christian crucifix in urine, but you’d better not toss a Qur’an into a toilet — which is where they belong — because this is a felony!

I wonder if tossing a Hebrew or Christian Bible into a toilet is an equal crime under the law?

Ironically, the book that’s causing millions of people to be murdered, and creating world-wide unrest, is protected while the others are not. The world has turned upside down. The question is, can we fix it? I just don’t know the answer.

Here’s the latest on flushing the Qur’an from Michelle Malkin: Which of these is a crime in America?

********************

P.S. I’m going to order several Qur’ans from Amazon. When they arrive, I’m going to drop all but one in public toilets with CAIR’s address written inside the covers (using toilets already clogged up with goo). I’ll use the remaining Qur’an shit book for shit paper.

Better still, why don’t we all just write the word “Qur’an” on pieces of cardboard, then toss those into toilets everywhere? We’ll flush the Qur’an in effigy. Let’s challenge the legal system and give them hundreds of thousands of flushing cases and jamb up the system. Let’s protest by shoving this issue up the systems tail pipe.

From the Arizona Republic:

Flyby Honored Fallen Comrade

Luke AFB is west of Phoenix and is rapidly being surrounded by civilization that complains about the noise from the base and its planes, forgetting that it was there long before they were.

A certain lieutenant colonel at Luke AFB deserves a big pat on the back. Apparently, an individual who lives somewhere near Luke AFB wrote the local paper complaining about a group of F-16s that disturbed his/her day at the mall. When that individual read the response from a Luke AFB officer, it must have stung quite a bit: (more…)

Has anyone ever heard of El’azar?

Have you ever heard or read what he said? Do you know to whom he said it, why and when? Do you know where this soliloquy fits in the history of what people?

I’ll tell you what El’azar said. Then you can explain why you think he said it, when he said it, to whom, how many years later it is now, and how it affects certain people’s thinking to this day. You might even care to comment how we know what the speech was.

Here’s the speech: (more…)
