On Thursday, our president (who I can only think of as General Emilio Vargas, just as Biden is Senator Joseph Blutarsky) responded to the voice of the people with vague, worthless flim-flam meant to resemble something they wanted to hear.
Basically, enough folks threatened enough Demo-rat congressmen and senators with walking papers, who in turn pressured the Caliph-in-Chief to make a false promise designed to lull the populace back into complacency and oblivion.
To preempt legislation that would alter Obamacare, General Vargas issued a decree to the same effect, until he says otherwise.
He has stated that he would veto any change to his fraudulent “health care law”.
We are in this position because the other side has been more vocal, vociferous and vehement than us.
Wake up people. Now is the time to maintain pressure on the vermin we have allowed to enslave us.
Keep pressure on your legislators to repeal this illegal and anti-American hoax. In November of next year remember to vote them out anyway.
If your legislators are Republicans call neighboring district and state representatives and tell them also.
Override the veto!!
On another note, I saw a bumper sticker that read:
“If you can read, thank a teacher. If you can read English, thank a soldier.”
The National Rifle Association reports that its membership is rapidly swelling even as Democrats and the Obama administration gear up for a major push to enact new gun-control laws.
The NRA reports it has added more than 100,000 members in the past 18 days. Membership of the pro-Second Amendment organization now stands at 4.2 million.
“Our goal is to get to 5 million before this debate is over,” an NRA sourcetold Politico.
NRA officials are meeting Thursday with the Obama administration’s emissary on the issue, Vice President Joe Biden. NRA leaders say they are willing to discuss any “reasonable proposals and plans,” but will not compromise on Second Amendment rights.
The Biden task force looking into new gun-control measures in the aftermath of the tragic school shootings Dec. 14 in Newtown, Conn., is meeting with a wide range of interested parties, including Wal-Mart executives and groups that represent hunters and sport-shooting enthusiasts. But its focus appears to be not on whether new gun restrictions are needed, but rather how severe they should be. Continue reading “NRA MEMBERSHIP BOOMING AS OBAMA-BIDEN PLOT GUN GRAB”→
Instead of calling it a war, which is precisely what bombing military assets of some other nation is, the loony left regime has chosen to tone down Obama’s illegal and impeachable (according to Joe Biden’s definition) actions taken against Libya by labeling it a “Kinetic Military Action.”
I’m a scuffed-in Cavalry veteran. Excuse me while I laugh here. Ha ha ha.
Given the left’s obvious denial and subsequent rally to protect Obama “The Anointed One,” why not instead call the action against Libya a pillow fight? If one is aimimg for the absurd, why not go all the way?
Moreover, Obama has now yielded complete control of military action against Libya to the United Nations. Why? Perhaps to undo his mistake of sending military assets to Libya in the first place, again something Biden views as illegal (and the UN is as worthless as teats on a boar hog).
No matter how you slice it, we were at war with Libya for at least a handful of days. Yet Biden is eerily quiet on this subject he so energetically and angrily deployed against Dick Cheney and G.W. Bush when they contemplated using US troops to “launch an attack on a foreign country without congressional authorization.” In that case it would have been Iran.
The tables have now turned. Obama-Biden is the new Bush-Cheney team and Libya is the foreign country in queston. They had no congressional authorization to attack. Oops!
Don’t get me wrong. I believe we should have gone in sooner and stayed the course until Wacky Qackdaffy was ousted. But fair is fair and somebody needs to press hypocritical Biden on this issue and sound off now just as he did in the article below.
Biden’s words about Bush:
Biden: Impeach President for Unauthorized Attack
Vice President Joe Biden has a very clear idea of what should happen to a president who orders U.S. military forces to launch an attack on a foreign country without congressional authorization: impeachment.
With some voices saying President Barack Obama should face impeachment for attacking Moammar Gadhafi’s forces in Libya, a videotape has surfaced from the 2007 campaign trail showing Biden threatening to impeach President George W. Bush if he attacked Iran without the approval of Congress.
“I have written an extensive legal memorandum with the help of a group of legal scholars who are sort of a stable of people, the best-known constitutional scholars in America, because for 17 years I was chairman of the Judiciary Committee,” Biden said in an interview with MSNBC’s Chris Matthews on “Hardball.”
“I asked them to put together [for] me a draft, which I’m now literally riding between towns editing, that I want to make clear and submit to the United States Senate pointing out the president has no authority to unilaterally attack Iran.
“And I want to make it clear, I want it on the record … if he does, as chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee and former chair of the Judiciary Committee, I will move to impeach him.”
He went on to say: “I think the best deterrent is for the president to know, even at the end of his term, we would move and move to follow through with that so his legacy would be marred for all time if he acted in what was clearly, clearly an impeachable offense.
“In the absence of that, what happens is, and you’re going to think I’m joking about this — I’m not. If you’re going to impeach George Bush you better impeach Cheney first. Not a joke.” src
So, if they’re going to impeach Obama, should they impeach Biden first? According to Biden, the answer is yes and “not a joke.” This could explain Biden’s silence on this subject.
The hypocritical double standard is obviously still alive and thriving inside the DC beltway.
The defeat industry is back at work again, with the usual suspects acting as a chorus calling for an American retreat in the face of Islamist terror.
Five years ago, the same cast of characters was calling for retreat from Iraq, abandoning that country to al Qaeda and its allies. The argument, according to Sen. Harry Reid and Rep. Nancy Pelosi, was that America, having already lost the war, had better acknowledge defeat and run away.
Those who wanted to appear more sophisticated, like then-Sen. Joe Biden, recommended that the United States carve up Iraq into three or five mini-states and then withdraw. Continue reading “The Defeat Lobby”→
