ROME — First Jeb Bush, President George Bush’s brother, converted to Catholicism. Now Tony Blair says he’s about to convert to Catholicism. And since George W. Bush was being shown such a good time by Pope Benedict XVI at the Vatican yesterday, rumors immediately began to fly that America’s President was on the verge of converting to Catholicism. (more…)

View all TMQ2 posts on Islamic Rage Boy
Our old friend, ‘Islamic Rage Boy’, was spotted again in the streets chanting death threats to Blair and the Queen for Knighting Sir Salman Rushdie. Below is a photo of him from a protest last year:

We didn’t know it then, but we do now. The original photo above had been doctored by the mainstream media.
The picture below was taken yesterday and clearly shows what this Muslim Poster Boy really looks like.
Before

The next photo showed up today, a doctored version done by the MSM. This is shameful. When will it end?
After

So, it turns out that he wasn’t a ‘Islamic Rage Boy’ after all. This young man is clearly just a pork-chop-loving goof.
One of our staff ran into him at a pig roast later in the day and learned that his friends call him “Porky” because he loves eating any part of the pig…even the…you know…Rocky Mountain Oysters.
Instead of the truth, the MSM has made him out to be some sort of militant Islamofascist dick head. While he may be a militant dick head, he’s clearly not a militant Islamofascist dick head. He’s just a pork-loving Muslim.

Goody Bagful of Dishonor
by Ralph Peters
IT WAS a fitting image of the 14 wimps and a sob sister arriving back in the United Kingdom yesterday: skulking away with pink goody bags in hand.
The color was no accident – although yellow would’ve been more appropriate.
The released hostages weren’t allowed to make any more statements. Apparently, the Blair government feared they’d repeat their lavish praise of their Iranian captors.
Look, we’re all glad they’re home safe, if not necessarily sound. But why on earth is Britain, the land of the legendary stiff upper lip, celebrating cowards who clambered over one another to shame their country? (more…)
Hostage Sailors — Britain’s Impotence

From the New York Post:
by Arthur Herman
IT’S been a tough month for the British Navy. On March 7, it learned that Tony Blair’s Labor government was going ahead with drastic cuts in its budget and number of ships. By this time next year, the once-vaunted Royal Navy will be about the size of the Belgian Navy, while its officers face a five-year moratorium on all promotions.
If that wasn’t demoralizing enough, last Friday the Iranian Navy seized a patrol boat containing 15 British sailors and Marines, claiming they’d crossed into Iranian waters. They’re now hostages and may well go on trial as spies. (more…)
Another Iran Hostage Crisis

Americans know all too well how the Iran Hostage Crisis of 1979-81 played out. Then president Jimmy Carter was weak and allowed our country to be humiliated for 444 agonizing days.
The Iranian monarchy was abolished in 1979 when a revolution, led by Ayatollah Khomeini, pressured the last Pahlavi shah (a friend to the US), Mohammad Reza Pahlavi, into exile, and established an Islamic Republic. Carter, of course, blundered and backed the wrong side.
The stench from Jimmy Carter’s botched foreign policy affairs still lingers in the Middle East. Both the Palestinian and the Iranian terrorists have become well-entrenched, evil forces thanks to the peanut brain from Georgia. (more…)

JUDGING BRITAIN’S PULLOUT PLAN
by Amir Taheri
Feb. 23, 2007 — THERE are two ways to see Britain and Denmark’s decision to set a time table for withdrawing troops from Iraq.
Those who are convinced that liberating Iraq was a mistake will see the move as an admission of failure. They can cite British Prime Minister Tony Blair’s words at a summit of the “coalition of the willing” in Azores in March 2003, 48 hours before the start of the war. (more…)
