Another early Beatles tune. Enjoy!
Here they are doing a live Liverpool rooftop mini concert.
The first time I watched The Beatles perform on television they were on The Ed Sullivan Show for their American debut. I already knew of them and played their records, but after seeing them perform, I was hooked for life, even if I didn’t know it then. Here are two great songs by one great band.

And I Love Her
What a great blast from the past.
43 years ago today, I remember watching this on our black and white Zenith television. It was during prime time on the Ed Sullivan Show. A program we viewed nightly as a family — and a “really good sheeew” it was.
I was enamored by the Beatles in those days. I still am to some degree. I actually owned a pair of black Beatle boots, replete with laces, pointed toes and blue lining. But mom drew the line there. She wouldn’t let me grow my hair like the Beatles — their’s was just too long!
My older sister (the pack rat) had a shoebox full of b&w Beatles cards. She got them from little packs you could buy for about 25-cents. They contained a couple of Beatles photo cards and a large piece of bubblegum. They’re probably worth a fortune today. Those were the days, man.
By the way, the Ed Sullivan theater is now the home of the David Letterman show.
