At Itunes http://tinyurl.com/26oykez from Jon Kahn, a.k.a. Jon David. A song to honor our brave men and women in uniform.
Check out Jon’s other music including “Careless Conversation”; as Jon David “American Heart”; and from his band the Color Green, the albums “Breakable” and “Rust.”
Dedicated to Shlomo Muslim PhD, Lawrence of Bessarabia and Word-Drum, because I’m the only one who was raised Christian around here…
I can also walk on water, as long as I know where the rocks are.
Marvin Gaye sings the American National Anthem at 1983 NBA All Star Game.
15-year-old Vince Mira does “Ring of Fire” by Johnny Cash. Here’s the entire interview and performance on the Ellen DeGeneres Show. His performance speaks for itself.
Here’s Johnny doing his original version. This was my favorite song as a kid.
All Vince was missing was the mariachi-style horns.
Just when you think you’ve heard all the possible ignorant Obama music videos, up pops another, to your great … vexation. The only good thing about this hip-hop flop is that it’s so lame and annoying, it might motivate folks to vote against Rev. Wright’s li’l biotch, Obama. At least one can hope.
This is some good old, shit-kickin’ bluegrass.
By MC Hammer
Note: Even though I think Rap and Hip Hop are for mindless thugs and ghetto rats, and I refuse to purchase or listen to either one, I’ve made an exception in this case because I’m a veteran who support our troops, even if I don’t think we should leave Iraq before the job is done.
It’s the first and thus far only plea for withdrawal you’re likely to encounter that’s mildly pro-Bush. Guaranteed to piss off liberals and conservatives alike.
It’s not quite the same without MC’s parachute pants, but the coffins are a nice touch.
One of his best.
For all our friends down under.
I had this 45 record single as a small kid. It was my favorite song. I also had an old picture book on exotic Australian animals. These two things kept my imagination alive with thoughts of someday going to OZ. This might be one of the reasons I love Australians so much.
Here’s to ya mates!
Oldie but goody.
Great voice. Enjoy!
This is for all you closet Starsky and Hutch fans out there. David Soul released “Don’t Give Up On Us, Baby” in 1977.
Born as David Richard Solberg on 28 August 1943 in Chicago, Illinois, USA, Soul’s father, Dr. Richard Solberg, served as a Religious Affairs Adviser to the U.S. High Commission in Berlin and as Senior Representative for the Lutheran World Federation, a refugee relief agency actively involved in the post WW II reconstruction in Germany. Soul spent his formative years traveling throughout the world until the family returned to America where Soul began playing the guitar and writing his own songs. Enrolling at the University of Minnesota, he also found a job in a nightclub singing folk songs and rock music… }} More at his web site: DavidSoul.com.

This video is a testament to Alanis’ sense of humor. It’s a parody of the Black Eyed Peas music video, My Humps. Alanis is deep. She’s beautiful. I love her lovely lady lumps, such beautiful humps.
