THE SIMPLE SOLUTION TO MASS SHOOTINGS

A MODEST PROPOSAL

The goal of reducing or preventing mass shootings will never be achieved through gun control measures, so let’s just take that idea off the table right now.

A veritable plethora of statistics exists which substantiate this fact and prove that the most rampant gun violence takes place in regions with the toughest gun laws, so I won’t waste time arguing this dead issue here.

Let’s step away from the subject of guns for a moment and take a closer look at the perpetrators, the trigger pullers who have carried out the most infamous mass shootings of late:

• Ft Hood Shooter: Registered Democrat, Muslim
• Columbine Shooters: Both families were registered Democrats and progressives/liberals
• Virginia Tech Shooter: Wrote hate mail to President Bush and staff, was a registered Democrat
• Colorado Theater Shooter: Registered Democrat, staff worker on Obama campaign, “occupy wall street” participant, progressive/liberal
• Connecticut School Shooter: Registered Democrat, hated Christians, mentally ill

Q: What seems to be the most common connection between these shooters?

A: They were all progressives, liberals, democrats, or some other variety of leftist.

Why is it that the group of perpetrators who stalk and kill movie-goers or who slaughter innocent children in their schools have never included a non-leftist or an NRA member? These same mentally challenged (read retarded and/or psychotic) leftists proffer banning guns for everyone, including the sane, non-leftists among us.

Allowing leftists (especially leftist politicians) to decide how to curb mass shootings is like having a child molester babysit your children.

Some conclude that because of these irrefutable statistics, we should ban all leftists from owning guns, or mandate that all leftists must join the NRA and own a gun. But we must remember, guns don’t kill people, people kill people… especially leftists.

So, these are ignorant, illogical ideas that have no possibility whatsoever of curbing mass shootings. And these shootings are not gun violence. They are violence carried out with guns.

If some crazed killer was bludgeoning people to death with a baseball bat, would we call it baseball bat violence? Of course not because inanimate objects cannot be violent.

The paramount solution is much simpler and strikes directly at the heart of the problem:

Make it illegal for anyone to be a progressive, a liberal, a Democrat or any other variety of leftist within our country’s borders. Label these elements as mentally ill—because they are—and remove them from society so they cannot steal or otherwise possess firearms with which to kill innocent people.

In short, take leftists out of the system and the mass shooting problem will be solved—tout suite!

It’s no secret that we’re against any infringement upon the Second Amendment to the US Constitution, part of the US Bill of Rights which protects the right of the people (you and me) to keep and bear arms.

A Little History on Gun Control

The Soviet Union established gun control in 1929.  From 1929 to 1953, a total of 20,000,000 dissidents who were unable to defend themselves were rounded up and exterminated.

Turkey established gun control in 1911.  From 1915 to 1917, a total of 1,500,000 Armenians who were unable to defend themselves were rounded up and exterminated.

Germany established gun control in 1938.  From 1939 to 1945, a total of 13,000,000 Jews and other so-called “undesirables” who were unable to defend themselves were rounded up and exterminated.

China established gun control in 1935.  From 1948 to 1952, a total of 20,000,000 political dissidents who were unable to defend themselves were rounded up and exterminated

Guatemala established gun control in 1964.  From 1964 to 1981, a total of 100,000 Mayan Indians who were unable to defend themselves were rounded up and exterminated.

Uganda established gun control in 1970.  From 1971 to 1979, a total of 300,000 Christians who were unable to defend themselves were rounded up and exterminated.

The grim milestone comes as President Obama faces mounting questions about the murderous attack on our consulate in Benghazi, Libya. And it came just a day after resurgent al Qaeda thugs pulled off the drive-by assassination of a top Yemeni security official who worked at the US embassy in Sanaa.

These are not “bumps in the road.” These are gravesites [sic: grave sites] on the blood-spattered path to surrender.

Seventeen US sailors died in the brutal suicide attack on the guided-missile destroyer Cole as it refueled at the Yemeni port of Aden in the fall of 2000. Then-President Bill Clinton vowed to track down the Muslim terrorist attackers: “We will find out who was responsible and hold them accountable.” But a dozen disgraceful years later, that promise has become a bitter punch line.

This White House only delayed and denied justice to the victims and their families.

An Invitation To Karl Vick

Some months ago someone’s idea of a gift to my wife was to give her a subscription to TIME magazine.

While throwing the October 15 issue into the recycle bin the day it came, by chance it opened to an article by Karl Vick about Mahmoud Abbas, or as the kids call him, Abu Mazen.

You would think that Abbas was the love child of Mahatma Gandhi and Mother Theresa.

According to Vick, Abbas is the greatest pacifist in the Mid-east and is single handedly responsible for eliminating terror attacks from Judea and Samaria, and credits him for his strict adherence to diplomacy and negotiations.

No mention of the separation fence foiling countless attempts of terrorism on a regular basis.

No mention of Abbas being in power for eight years of a two year term.

No mention of Abbas and his Fatah henchmen pocketing billions of dollars in aid meant for the Arab populace under his reign.

No mention of his continued incitement of hatred of Jews and Israelis on PA run TV and in PA run schools.

Karl, I’m sorry your photo didn’t accompany your byline.

It would have given me even more of an incentive to wipe my ass with your glorious opus.

Go back to whatever bizarro planet you live on, and in the meantime,

Flip Flop And Fry

The Democrats took showing their true colors to new depths this week.

After issuing a platform that was on the surface Mid-East neutral but decidedly anti-Israel between the lines, they couldn’t take the heat and couldn’t get out of their own way trying to leave the kitchen.

Realizing how out of touch it was with the electorate they re-instated some of the language the public wanted, at the behest of the Douche-Bag-in-Chief.

The voice vote took three rounds to differentiate the yays from the nays, before the motion to re-instate was carried.

If you heard the audio or saw the video it was clearly a no go, substantiated by the reaction of those present to the results.

It’s also being reported that the decision was made prior to the vote, as the announcement appeared on a teleprompter beforehand.

Not being able to pass muster as themselves, the Democrats needed to put wool on their wolf’s fur and pretend to be what they’re not.

I always thought of myself as an independent but, to paraphrase Scarlett O’Hara, “As God as my witness, I shall never vote for a Democrat again.”

Little Nicky

This post takes its title from a year 2000 Adam Sander movie in which his character’s mother is an angel and his father is Satan.

The post itself however is inspired by Thursday’s NY Times op-ed by Nicholas Kristof which shares the same level of dichotomy.

Little Nicky, the movie, I never saw.

Little Nicky, the op-ed piece brought a tear to my eye and warmed the cockles of my heart.

And believe me, my cockles need all the warmth they can get.

Kristof was effervescent, effusive and all a titter over American military action in Libya.

He was against the Iraq war because he knew that the Iraqi people really didn’t want us there.

But this time it’s different because the Libyans are thrilled to have us save them from a psychotic tyrant.

And what’s a little collateral damage in the course of saving lives?

My spider sense tells me that this little Nicky is bitch-yapping for his mack daddy in the White House.

All of a sudden a pointless war of choice on a sovereign nation is for duty and humanity. (This is not a defense of Quackdaffy)

This is the Little Nicky who drumbeats for every Islamist front group, who stated that the Egyptian protesters were no different from the Minutemen of 1776, and condemns Israel for any action it takes to save the humanity of its own citizens from death and destruction.

Unlike Adam Sandler’s character, this Little Nicky has no angel parentage, but was sired and borne by some old-fashioned czarist Antisemitism.

David Horowitz and his Discover the Networks.org have also contributed a wealth of information and have noted Obama’s radical connections since the beginning.

 

Yet, no one to my knowledge has yet connected all the dots between Barack Obama and the Radical Left. When seen together, the influences on Obama’s life comprise a who’s who of the radical leftist movement, and it becomes painfully apparent that not only is Obama a willing participant in that movement, he has spent most of his adult life deeply immersed in it.

 

But even this doesn’t fully describe the extreme nature of this candidate. He can be tied directly to a malevolent overarching strategy that has motivated many, if not all, of the most destructive radical leftist organizations in the United States since the 1960s. }} more…

POGO REDUX

Many moons ago a cartoon by the name of Pogo appeared in the newspaper funnies around these parts. Maybe it still does, but I haven’t read the funnies in a long time and wouldn’t know.

A famous quote from one of the characters some time in the late sixties or early seventies, forgive my lapse of long term memory, was,

“We have met the enemy, and it is us.”

I don’t remember whether it was a commentary on the tendency to assassinate political leaders at the time or the military involvement in Vietnam or both.

It was however a direct reference that certain behaviors and activities on the part of American individuals and/or institutions were detrimental to the national well being and that we were our own worst enemy.

It was a rallying cry of those to the left of center because, let’s face it anything that is ever wrong with this country is the fault of anyone to the right of Norman Thomas, correct?

The events of recent times have made it more applicable now than ever but we would be hard pressed to hear anyone on the left explain how.

I’m not a constitutional lawyer, I don’t play one on TV but I have noticed something lately.

Our leaders who have sworn to protect, defend and uphold the Constitution of the United States are in the process of turning it upside down and gutting it, like a freshly caught marlin being prepped for mounting.

Here we go: The leader of the Muslim Brotherhood has endorsed (Arabic) (English translation by MEMRI) anti-American Jihad and pretty much every element in the al-Qaida ideology book. Since the Brotherhood is the main opposition force in Egypt and Jordan as well as the most powerful group, both politically and religiously, in the Muslim communities of Europe and North America this is pretty serious stuff.
