Words of wisdom for those who support our current Muslim dictator.
“Whence does [the State] draw those resources that it is urged to dispense by way of benefits to individuals? Is it not from the individuals themselves? How, then, can these resources be increased by passing through the hands of a parasitic and voracious intermediary?” — Frédéric Bastiat
“But how is this legal plunder to be identified? Quite simply. See if the law takes from some persons what belongs to them and gives it to other persons to whom it does not belong. See if the law benefits one citizen at the expense of another by doing what the citizen himself cannot do without committing a crime.” ― Frédéric Bastiat
“Everyone wants to live at the expense of the state. They forget that the state wants to live at the expense of everyone.” ― Frédéric Bastiat

Claude Frédéric Bastiat (1801-1850) was a French economist, statesman, and author who wrote extensively just prior to and immediately following the French Revolution of 1848 concerning the dangers of complete socialism….and one who’s words I believe are a genuinely accurate indicator for what is presently occurring in our society today. I might also add is someone who, regardless of what your individual political persuasion may be, is well worth your time to investigate as he could either certainly enforce already strongly held opinions and beliefs, or bring new light to the error of one’s currently held philosophies. ― Submitted by a TMQ reader
