Statement on the Proposed “Cordoba House” Mosque near Ground Zero

There should be no mosque near Ground Zero in New York so long as there are no churches or synagogues in Saudi Arabia. The time for double standards that allow Islamists to behave aggressively toward us while they demand our weakness and submission is over.
The proposed “Cordoba House” overlooking the World Trade Center site – where a group of jihadists killed over 3000 Americans and destroyed one of our most famous landmarks – is a test of the timidity, passivity and historic ignorance of American elites. For example, most of them don’t understand that “Cordoba House” is a deliberately insulting term. It refers to Cordoba, Spain — the capital of Muslim conquerors who symbolized their victory over the Christian Spaniards by transforming a church there into the world’s third-largest mosque complex.
Today, some of the Mosque’s backers insist this term is being used to “symbolize interfaith cooperation” when, in fact, every Islamist in the world recognizes Cordoba as a symbol of Islamic conquest. It is a sign of their contempt for Americans and their confidence in our historic ignorance that they would deliberately insult us this way. Those Islamists and their apologists who argue for “religious toleration” are arrogantly dishonest. They ignore the fact that morethan 100 mosques already exist in New York City. Meanwhile, there are no churches or synagogues in all of Saudi Arabia. In fact no Christian or Jew can even enter Mecca. And they lecture us about tolerance.
If the people behind the Cordoba House were serious about religious toleration, they would be imploring the Saudis, as fellow Muslims, to immediately open up Mecca to all and immediately announce their intention to allow non-Muslim houses of worship in the Kingdom. They should be asked by the news media if they would be willing to lead such a campaign.
We have not been able to rebuild the World Trade Center in nine years. Now we are being told a 13 story, $100 million megamosque will be built within a year overlooking the site of the most devastating surprise attack in American history.
Finally where is the money coming from? The people behind the Cordoba House refuse to reveal all their funding sources. America is experiencing an Islamist cultural-political offensive designed to undermine and destroy our civilization. Sadly, too many of our elites are the willing apologists for those who would destroy them if they could.
No mosque.
No self deception.
No surrender.
The time to take a stand is now — at this site on this issue.

In addition to the lack of proper vetting for the election process, namely his refusal to produce a valid Birth certificate, I feel that President Barack Hussein Obama's political platform, his long standing associations with our enemies and his buck-jawed squaw—the Worst Lady who openly expresses her hatred for the USA—will work together to place our country in a state of serious distress.
Therefore, as my statement against this African usurper and the intentional damage he is inflicting upon our great country, the American flag graphic, and the NOBAMA and WORST LADY caricatures will remain in the distress position (upside down) until they vacate the white house, forced or otherwise, DEAD OR ALIVE!

Another suggestion for the Ground Zero mosque: If they’re going to call it The Cordoba House (as a remembrance of Cordoba in Spain, where Muhammed and his minions had some of their greatest victories), why don’t we build something across the street called The Tours House?
A little backstory, and you’re all welcome to research this one as you see fit: The Battle of Tours in 732, in France. A real historian would give you a dissertation on the subject, but I’m just an amateur. The short version is that the Umayyad Caliphate, which had almost completely taken over Spain and had been launched out of the Persian Gulf region under Muhammed, was getting antsy and feeling ambitious. Under Muhammed’s historical mandate, the rest of the world had to necessarily submit to Muslim rule; why not keep going and take France?
So they tried. And they got pretty far; Tours is up about midway into the country. But then Charles Martel and his forces intervened at Tours, and the Muslim Conquest was shut down cold and put to rout. The Wikipedia article—for all the accuracy that Wikipedia has—notes that the battle was won without the use of cavalry (thought Lance might find that interesting).
Not surprisingly, since 9/11 the Islamists have actively bullied the Spaniards in the form of the Madrid train bombings, which turned the elections that year and signaled the end of Spain’s involvement in the GWOT. President Sarkozy in France has taken massive amounts of heat for some remarkably strong proactive measures against Muslim immigration into the country, to say nothing of a VERY strong reaction about 3-4 years back when Muslim immigrants—and the in-place Muslim population in France—attempted to run riot in the streets of Paris and other noted French cities. The rioters were caught and summarily deported.
Also of note is France’s strong stance in the counter-piracy efforts off the coast of Somalia. I’m no ardent admirer of the French—they’re still generally snooty, without the right kind of substance to back it up, and I don’t care for them providing shelter for Michael Moore aka Jabba the Hutt—but they have made some good hits of late.
That’s a lot of drift and prattle on my part, but I hope you guys get the gist.
