Carter Pays Homage to Terrorist Mass Murderer Arafat

Jimmy Carter appears determined to do everything possible to legitimize Palestinian terrorism
In one of his more disgusting displays of pandering, today he laid a wreath on the grave of one of history’s most notorious mass murderers, Yasser Arafat, bearing the words, “President and Mrs. Carter.”
It gets worse: Jimmy Carter embraces Hamas official.
RAMALLAH, West Bank - Former President Jimmy Carter embraced a leading Hamas figure Tuesday, according to participants in a meeting that infuriated Israeli officials already upset by Carter’s freelance Mideast peace mission.
Carter also laid a wreath at the grave of Yasser Arafat, whom the Bush administration and many Israelis blame for the breakdown of peace talks seven years ago and the violence that followed.
At a reception in the West Bank town of Ramallah organized by Carter’s office, the former president hugged Nasser Shaer, a senior Hamas politician, meeting participants said. Embraces between men are a common custom in Arab culture.
“He gave me a hug. We hugged each other, and it was a warm reception,” Shaer told The Associated Press. “Carter asked what he can do to achieve peace between the Palestinians and Israel … and I told him the possibility for peace is high.”

Where's Pat Paulsen when you finally need him?

I guess his books sell well in their Arabic editions. And just as Islamic terrorists have learned, the more they please their not-so-invisible masters, the more money their masters give them. Carter’s always schnorring for the Carter Center. That’s his legacy, at least in his eyes. He figures, with enough money the Carter Center will be able to whitewash Carter’s name through the generations. But here at TMQ2, we’ll always remember that Carter was the worst president ever and the worst ex-president ever. The longer he lives, the more he proves it.
