Of course, it’s also possible that between now and when President George W. Bush leaves office, he acts as he did when he was still Governor of Texas. Whoever was on death row in his state, he signed the necessary papers and got them off death row more expeditiously than any American governor ever.

In the time Bush has been president, he reigned in Libya, Afghanistan and Iraq. No small feat. Sure, there’s more work to be done. And, the way things are going, Iran is still on death row, and the clock’s-a-ticking.

I don’t see Mrs. Clinton or Mr. Obama doing anything other than dragging their respective asses on the issue. Seems the world’s only hope is that Mr. McCain becomes President of the United States and takes care of Iran the way a U.S. President can and must. Otherwise, we’re going to be hearing way more than we care to from the Supreme Leader of the Muslim World (Iran).

We could do that, but even better, the President of the United States needs to say Iran must come totally clean about its nuclear program, give everything up, end it, or else. Kind of like the way Bush gave Saddam Hussein an ultimatum. Saddam had a choice, he and his sons could leave Iraq, or we were going to come and get them. Nothing short of laying down the law in a way that Iran knows we mean business, will get them to stop. We know that. It’s obvious. Why wait for Iran to nuke Israel? Or any other country? That makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. Zippo!
