thats crazy how u said no plates or screws
i have a foot long plate n 4 screws in my lower leg i recently enlisted and is shipping off in feb 28 for the cav in ft benning
hope it wont hold me back, matter a fact it wont hold me back
im ganna get the airborne n ranger tab
can wait, ur advise on training is great
but better to be prepared than sorry any advice on my leg during training?

I did those hills as an enlisted man, then again in ’82 as an officer candidate. I say bring those bunny hills on… right now …I’ll run ‘em now!

Last I knew the infamous hills at fort knox were closed to the recruits!!! Me being a recruit back in 2002 I remember those hills like a really bad nightmare! But I had to go back to disney land in may of 2009 for a few courses and I was informed that the hills were closed due to the fact that the new recruits couldnt handle them and broke to many of them off. So inturn the new babys got a whole new graduation road march!!!

Yes, the same Scouts we’ve been writing about here get attached to Infantry Units. Like I said, Scouts go find the enemy and the Infantry then move up.

To all those that decide to go Cav Scout!!!, Just remember one thing, and that is, Scouts are very dependent on each other. You will see combat, and never go rambo if you don’t have to. You are recon, silent, invisible,unless your doing a movement to contact, you will be one of the most highly trained groups of men the army has. Getting your friend killed will lay with you forever. What you do will be for all time and you will look at your days of hardship with pride. and you will remember all the bad things you did. on and off the battlefield. Suck it up and listen to your section SSG, even when you think hes wrong, cause really?,what do you know that he hasn’t alreay done? Oh yeah!!! cheeseburgers are out, and buy a friggin awesome set of running shoes, cause ya gotta be thin and fast if ya wanna survive. You might not be able to outrun a bullet, but ya need to get to cover fast most times. God Bless!!
