The US Postal Service earlier this year issued a recall of a stamp created with a picture of former President Jimmy Carter to honor his achievements as post presidential representative of our nation.
Numerous complaints were being made that the stamp was not sticking to envelopes, and that mail which had been sent using the stamps was not being delivered.
A special Postal Service Investigation Team was formed, and after several months, and many dollars spent, it issued the following report of its findings:
- The stamp was manufactured properly.
- There was nothing wrong with the adhesive.
- People were just spitting on the wrong side

Excellent! Jimmy Carter once took campaign money from John Wayne Gacey, the mass murderer “clown” from Chicago. Gacey was a life-long Democrat.
Don’t forget that famous photo of Gacey and Rosslyn Carter together.
