Unfortunately or not, when certain Muslims hired by the enemy takes advantage of our open door policy, we're forced to clear out some of their comments, even if that means killing some of the more interesting comments with them. It's only on rare occasions that we've been forced to. We prefer it when the Muslim side of the story is related to the topic, such as the one above by Anonymous. We always like to hear Anonymous' view of his world and ours. It widens our perspective on how many ways there are for Muslims to delude themselves. To put their spin on things, they always like to pick out some little thing that when presented their way actually makes some sense, but unfortunately they leave out over 99% of the real story. The Muslim Question blogs, the first ones and this, TMQ2, have over time tried to cogently and coherently cover the other 99% of the the real story. TMQ2's take on reality always trumps that of the random Anonymous Muslim who spins a comment here and there. Even still, thanks for spinning, you dizbo.

Flag Burning and Desecrating Religious Books are totally different things. Flags - along with crosses, stars of David, moon and star - are all SYMBOLS - they are there to show that a certain religion or country is present. They do not contain the name of G-d, nor do they have anything sacred or holy about them.

Burning books such as the Torah or the Bible or the Qur'an is burning sacred text. A flag is NOT sacred - it is merely a symbol. All flags are national symbols - symbols used to separate certains groups of people - but Holy books are more than symbols, they are a way of life. Holy books teach religion and how to worship and how be live your life - does a flag do that?

And furthermore, Islam is not the problem here. Do you even know the story behind the Islamic radicals? This whole thing started because the American CIA established a new Shah in Iran so that they wouldnt nationalize the oil industry. The Middle Eat started to develope technologically so quickly that they didnt know what to do. They became afraid of this Dominant U.S. power. And what do people do when they are afraid? They turn to religion. The surge of radical Islams only came recently because of the fast rate of development. They studied Islamic teachings more and more until they thought that they had to re-establish their own Theocracy and get rid of the U.S. power - that is how this whole thing started (not the whole story, but the jist of it)

In other words: It is not Islam that started this - it was the combined effort of Eisenhower and Churchill - who were only concerned with the oil. Now, since the trend of oil = power has taken place, Bush has gone to great lengths to keep his big business oil partners happy.

Anyone has the right to burn any flag they want - they can piss of any symbol they want, but once it turns religious, then you have a problem on your hands. This is the point of the First Amendment - the separation of Church and State. The Flag has no religious value whatsoever, but any Holy Book does - and desecrating a Holy Book will be considered a hate crime and will bring harsh repercussions.

Its one thing to be ignorant, but another to be stupid on purpose.
