Having made and staked my reputation on being politically incorrect, it is time I came out of the closet on this.
Let it be known that I am an Americanist.
I believe it is not enough to merely respect and defend the guiding principles of liberty and freedom that the Founding Fathers formulated over the second half of the 18th century.
As an Americanist, I am committed to believe with my whole heart in the moral, philosophical, political, and practical superiority of the traditional American way of life.
No other current political system or form of government has stood the test of time as well as ours. I don’t count hose-bag monarchies, which for the most part are merely parasitic figureheads.
Detractors are quick to point out the imperfections and limitations of our ways.
Having been to other countries and seeing some alternative governments in action, including military dictatorships, Franco’s Spain and the USSR, I have been able to germinate an appreciation for the USA.
And it goes beyond better toilet paper than anywhere else.
As an Americanist, I believe that although our form of government may be imperfect, it is far less imperfect than any of the alternatives.
The biggest imperfection is that as a nation we have lost sight of the ideas and concepts envisioned by our Founding Fathers. These ideas and concepts must be a core part of the country’s educational curriculum. The knowledge of how this nation was created and what it was meant to stand for is just as vital as reading, ‘riting and ‘rithmetic.
Would it be so terrible to inculcate in our children the notion of how great the USA is, to counter our enemies’ indoctrination of a hatred and death wish for us in their own children?
How can America remain great if no one knows what it is that makes us great?
As an Americanist, I believe that it’s not just our political system that makes us great, but also our socio-economic way of life.
When I was in Russia 20 years ago, some wise ass Commie tried to tell me how the American Revolution wasn’t a revolution but a war of independence, because all it did was replace one set of capitalists with another set of capitalists.
I told him to tell his teachers it was a true revolution because it invented capitalism as an alternative to mercantilism . Financial gain became available for the sake of individuals and not for the sake of the monarchy. It created the opportunity for upward mobility the likes of which the world had never seen, unlike the feudal caste system which remained in place in England.
In the 1970′s, it became the norm to trash mouth America, and that mentality has perpetuated, thanks to the self-hating leftists and politically correct mental midgets. If you share that mentality, especially after witnessing the emergence of democracies throughout the world, then you are hopeless.
People around the world want what we have to offer but they don’t want us. They feel entitled to belittle America and Americans. If that weren’t bad enough, there are those among us who want to marginalize anyone who stands up for this country.
As an Americanist, I believe they should go live in these places that are so much better, and on your way there, you can stop by and blow me.
The millions of people seeking shelter here know this is a great place, otherwise they would be sneaking into China or some other shit hole.
The problem is that they don’t know the mechanics of how we got to be the great nation we are.
If we don’t make them learn, or if we become incapable of teaching them, this will no longer be the America of greatness.
Everyone I’ve ever known, except for a couple of Mohawk guys I hung out with in college, were the products of immigration. Our parents and grandparents were immigrants. They came here not just to be in America, but to become Americans.
As an Americanist, I believe that this is a process that needs to fortified more than ever.
We are witnessing an unprecedented wave of immigration that is short-circuiting that process.
Too many people are being allowed to come to America without becoming Americans. Granting amnesty to 20 million illegals will not make them Americans. Especially those who think they are reclaiming the Southwest for Mexico.
If you look on a map of Europe, all the countries are different colors with clear delineations. That is how a country is defined, by its borders. You don’t see mixing or
blending of colors. France is France and Germany is Germany. Without clearly defined borders, what is there to define this country?
Without an unshakable sense of our own greatness, and a grounding in the basic principles that allowed this nation to become great, we have no defense against the onslaught undermining the value system on which the US was built.
As an Americanist, I am indebted to all those who have gone before me in making this the greatest nation in the history of the world.
SAY IT LOUD: I’M AMERICAN AND I’M PROUD. GOD BLESS AMERICA!
If you disagree, blow me.

How can you say “No other current political system or form of government has stood the test of time as well as ours”?
Arabs love governments that guarantee poverty to everyone except the billionaires.
War and mayhem, hurrah.
Their battle cry, is government by deceit, for deceit and of deceit.
They might as well admit their political system or form of government that has stood the test of time as well as ours is forged on the precepts of their founding fathers who said,
“Forget about governing and keep anti-Semitism at the top of the agenda. That’s what keeps the people happy. That’s what keeps the billionaires giddy like pigs in shit.”
The Muslim pigs that they are.
Anger is the most intoxicating drug of all. So if you want to intoxicate your flock, the smart, tyrannical governments keep their masses focused on anger and hate directed towards somebody else so they won’t focus on their own government’s weenie up their ass and hand in their pocket. Arafat was the pimp-daddy in this game.
And if you’re going to use the anger/hate control recipe while trying to minimize the chances of getting your nuts kicked in, you’d better pick on somebody who’s an easy mark to bully. For many, many, many, many, many moons, the Joos have been the victims du jour for the goat humpers.
Unfortunately, the problem now is that the Arab/Muslim hate mongers started bullying the wrong peeps (the USA) at the same time the Jooooos got nukes. So it now appears these not-so-sharp Muslim marbles are gonna end up with their nuts in somebody’s jar, and big non-Muslim cocks up their poop chutes — all this without the common decency of a kiss or reach-around.
Now might be the perfect time to purchase Middle-Eastern Vaseline futures…
You’re right, there are to many coming to America without understanding American culture, they should have to pass an Americanism test. And when they show up at our door step they should be told, “You can bring in your food and music only, leave your clothing and your politics behind, in other words, This is America Fit in or Fuck OFF!.
Thanks Greg,
The most important thing not mentioned is ENGLISH.
We must make English the official language and put an end to all this bilingual bullshit.
Why should voter registration and ballot forms in Spanish and Chinese even exist?
English proficiency should be required for citizenship.
When England conquered Canada from the French 250 years ago the treaty allowed French control over existing schools and the retention of the French language.
If every one had to speak English there wouldn’t be any radical Separatiste movement in Quebec today.
They all would have been assimilated.
At this rate our motto might as well be
E Unum Pluribus
Somone once told me that living in another country would make me feel more international and more like a citizen of the world.
Living and working in Europe for the last two years has only instilled in me a greater appreciation of what we have in the America, what we do for the world, and what we have meant and still mean to the future of mankind. Perfect? No, but the choices and sacrifices we have made over the past century have led the world into the greatest explosion of progress and global prosperity the world has ever seen.
I could not give a rats petute if the parasites that benefit from the US don’t realize it or appreciate it. They can, as you say. blow me.
