emperorbananaketchup, the Grammys are political. It’s not who you know, it’s who you blow.

As for Brits knowing class and taste, some do, just like some Americans do. But Brits have just as many-per-capita classless idiots as the rest of the world.

The US just produces more musical artists ( I use that term loosely). Therefore we have more lousy bi-products.

I will say my favorite musical artists of all time were mostly Brits, but this did not automatically mean they had class or taste. I just liked their sound.

The DC didn’t not deserve Record of the Year/Song of the Year. They didn’t, just didn’t.

The Carrie Underwood — Corrine Bailey Rae battle.. hmm seemed fair, hard to choice. If you take the fact that Underwood, had AI to push her throught, it was an even match maybe.

Tuned into the Grammys late…

Methinks the NARAS voters are beign given too much flak for voting the Dixie Chicks…and favoring Carrie Underwood over the (more deserving) Corrine Bailey Rae for BNA.

Can’t say anything musically about the DCs since they don’t play them much over where I live…but when it comes to TRUE musical quality, I’d take the Brits over the Grammies anytime.

At least the Brits know class and taste…even if they gave us James “Cunt” Blunt
