The following came from a chain email going around entitled “Muslim Americans by Jeff Lamb.”
Can Muslims be good American citizens?
Many people say theologically and philosophically they cannot. Their allegiance is to Allah.
Because Islam accepts no other religion (Quran, 2:256).
Because Islam, Muhammad, and the Quran do not allow freedom of religion and expression.
Because Muslims want to overturn democracies, and much prefer autocratic, dictatorial theocracies.
Islam forbids Muslims to make friends with Christians or Jews, and nowadays seems to force many Muslims to wage war against us.
Muslims submit to their mullahs (spiritual leaders) who teach annihilation of Israel and destruction of America.
Married Muslim men are taught to beat their wives when they disobey them (Quran 4:34).
Muslims refuse to accept the American Constitution because they say it is based on Biblical principles and Muslims believe the Hebrew and Christian Bibles are corrupt.
It’s nice that our president wants to think of Islam as a religion of peace. If only it were. Hopefully the day will come when it is. However, for the time being, because it is anything but, we should be very suspicious of all Muslims, in America and everywhere else.
These are the facts. The sooner we face them, the better.
It is the government that cannot face these facts, not most Americans. It is the government that is taking sides, believing the words of the Koran over the God-inspired words of the Bible. See this page Muslim Holidays Earn Growing Recognition in U.S., which includes this paragraph:
“Even before 9/11, public school systems in the states of Michigan and New Jersey with large Muslim populations declared school holidays on Eid ul-Fitr, which marks the end of Ramadan; and Eid ul-Adha, which celebrates Abraham’s willingness to sacrifice his son Ishmael.” (Compare with Genesis 22:2 “Take now thy son, thine only son Isaac, whom thou lovest…”)
This is astonishing for a country founded in “Judeo-Christian” ethics. But that, too, was before 9/11; now it is “Judeo-Christian-Islamic,” or “Abrahamic” for short.
In “Learning More About Islam,” Madeleine Albright said, “If we want Muslims to understand America, we should encourage Americans to learn more about Islam.” I encourage Ms. Albright to mind her own business.
Thousands of government pages “encourage us to learn about Islam” and when we rightly reach the conclusions in this post, they spend the same amount of space “assuring” Muslims and the Islamic world that we are wrong and “don’t reflect the policies of the U.S. government.”
See Islam: The Next American Religion? “The U.S. began as a haven for Christian outcasts. But what religion fits our current zeitgeist? The answer may be Islam.” Muslims do not want Islam to be another religion in America. They want Islam to be the only religion in America.
And the irony is that inspite of so much sycophancy and boot-licking by westren leaders like Bush and Albright, the muslims everywhere consider the west to be their staunch enemy !
